Our windmill is not your standard wedding venue. The serene atmosphere of the wedding hall and the tranquility of the mill yard provide an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding day. After arrival by boat, you and your guests enjoy a carefree wedding from start to finish.

At Molen de Ster you will find everything in one location for a unique and intimate wedding. Organize your ceremony, reception, dinner and party in and around the mill.

Put together a delicious and sustainable menu with our chef. For example, surprise your guests with a summer BBQ from the organic butcher or serve a festive street food bar from our own kitchen. Complete your wedding day with an acoustic band or dance the night away with your favorite songs during a silent disco.

The Zagerij lends itself very well for an intimate performance by a good band. As background music during dinner or as the main act of your wedding. At the mill we have a lot of experience with concerts in the mill and are happy to help you find your ideal act.

Wedding photos

The mill is very photogenic and ideal for a wedding photo shoot. It is possible to take pictures at the platform halfway up the mill. It is also nice to take a group photo on the slope at the waterfront with the entire mill in the background.

Even if you don’t get married at the mill, you can rent the windmill as the backdrop for your personal wedding photos. Book the windmill for your wedding photos by emailing boekingen@molendester.nu
