Exactly 25 years ago today, Prince Claus put the rebuilt mill back into operation. We will conclude the celebration of 25 years of Molen De Ster with a real choir festival and a summer concert by Tim Dawn.

Choir Festival ‘Choirs at the Mill’
Come listen to 8 great choirs, each presenting their own repertoire. Each choir performs twice and concludes together with the singing of the Molenlied, where visitors are cordially invited to sing along.

Summer concert by Tim Dawn
We conclude this festive day with a concert by singer-songwriter Tim Dawn with his band on the mill yard. This farmyard resident is best known for his big hit with the Bee Gees cover To Love Somebody, which he recorded for an award-winning commercial. But he has also generated many millions of streams with his own work and has become an indispensable part of Dutch radio.

Historic ships
To add even more atmosphere and character to the celebration of this heritage, several historic ships will also be moored at the mill yard this weekend. In the afternoon there is an opportunity to take a brief look around those ships.
