Musical top talent on stage during the Sawdust Sessions.

Every first Sunday of the month Tim Dawn programs two fellow musicians for the Sawdust Sessions in the sawmill of Molen de Ster. During this second edition Maryn Charlie & Martin Jasper will be on stage.

Maryn Charlie is an indie/alt-pop singer-songwriter who expresses the inner struggles of Gen Z in an infectious and very personal way. Her debut EP ‘Life is Overwhelming’ was released in 2022 and she has already shown on many stages that she feels at home with her audience. With her latest EP ‘Out of the Blue’ she toured the Netherlands last year as a support act for the band Rondé.

Nienke Leone sings what she is afraid to talk about and invites you to be best friends for one night. Her energetic show with infectious enthusiasm is an ode to honest music, inspired by artists like Typhoon and Julia Michaels. She writes her songs on her houseboat, where narrative, autobiographical lyrics and ultra-catchy choruses set the tone. Meanwhile, her first EP is out, she participated in Popronde 2024, where she played no fewer than 25 shows, and she provided support act for Krezip and Ruben Annink.
